We are looking for a Supply Chain Analyst to join a growing organization in Williamsburg, Virginia on a contract-to-permanent basis. This role will support end-to-end procurement and supply chain operations, helping ensure materials and finished goods move efficiently across the business. The ideal candidate will use data-driven insights to identify bottlenecks, strengthen planning accuracy, and improve overall operational performance.
Job Responsibility:
Manage the procurement cycle from requisition through purchase order creation, issuance, and follow-up with suppliers
Analyze supply chain activity to identify inefficiencies, recommend cost-saving opportunities, and improve service levels
Partner with internal teams to align purchasing decisions with inventory needs, production schedules, and customer demand
Monitor supplier performance, order status, and delivery timelines to help maintain a reliable flow of materials and products
Develop forecasting insights and planning reports that support inventory control and operational decision-making
Track key supply chain metrics and present findings that support process improvements across logistics and procurement functions
Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve supply disruptions, material shortages, and other issues affecting continuity of supply
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in supply chain analysis, procurement, or a related operational role
Strong knowledge of supply chain logistics, supply chain management, and end-to-end material flow
Experience supporting forecasting, production planning, and inventory-related decision-making
Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate findings into practical business recommendations
Familiarity with purchase order management and supplier coordination in a fast-paced environment
Understanding of global supply chain concepts and how they impact sourcing and delivery performance
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
