The Supply Chain Associate leads the Operations team’s efforts in coordinating with Asset Management and Procurement to define and implement EDPR North America’s supply chain and warehousing strategy.
Job Responsibility:
Represent Operations in a multi-departmental team that develops the supply chain strategy for EDPR NA’s assets
Manage supplier communication for spare part ordering and fulfilment
Responsible for oversight and optimization of the company’s supply chain
Optimize stocking levels for individual power plant warehouses in EDPR’s SAP system
Coordinate with onsite personnel to ensure optimal systematic warehouse structure
Define the scope of work and minimum performance standards for suppliers and service providers
Define, and develop tracking methods for, KPIs related to supply chain performance
Advise Procurement during Requests for Proposals relating to the supply chain
Make recommendations to the Executive Committee regarding expansion of EDPR NA’s supply chain and logistics organization
Assist with the operation of the company’s SAP system
Additional duties as required
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field
1+2 years in a supply chain, logistics, or maintenance role
Strong knowledge of excel models, budgeting, and cost-benefit analysis
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and Project software suites
Experience with SAP preferred
Competency in Analytical Problem Solving, Strong Communication, Customer/Partner Relationships, and Technology Expertise. (Preferred)
Excellent interpersonal skills for teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation
Ability to be extroverted and collaborative
Excellent planning and organizational skills
