The Supply Chain Analyst Principal supports Category Management by providing analytical, market, and supplier insights to drive cost, risk, performance, and supply continuity improvements across assigned categories within a regulated aerospace and defense environment. This individual contributor role partners closely with the Category Manager to execute category strategies through disciplined, end-to-end sourcing activities, including data-driven decision support, sourcing execution, supplier evaluation and selection, and complex commercial negotiations.
Job Responsibility:
Lead end-to-end competitive sourcing initiatives aligned to approved category strategies
Drive cross-functional sourcing decisions by partnering with Engineering, Quality, Program, Legal, and Finance
Develop data-driven sourcing and supplier recommendations
Lead and support complex commercial negotiations
Execute all sourcing activities in full compliance with FAR, DFARS, and company procurement policies
Collaborate with Supplier Development, Quality, and Program teams to address supplier performance issues
Identify and mitigate supply chain risks
Serve as the primary sourcing interface for assigned programs and initiatives
Provide regular updates to the Category Manager
Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree plus 6 or more years of related experience
Detail-oriented and organized
Work effectively under pressure

Strategic sourcing
Knowledge of supply chain management and fab to print procurements
Supplier Quality
Proficiency in ERP systems
U.S. Citizenship Required
Must be willing and eligible for security clearance submission

Master’s Degree or Ph.D.
Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education
Understanding of PCB fabrication (multi-layer, HDI, Rigid-Flex, RF) and PCBA assembly technologies
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings with a basic knowledge of IPC standards (e.g., IPC-A-610, IPC-6012)
