Job Description:

The Supply Chain Analyst Principal supports Category Management by providing analytical, market, and supplier insights to drive cost, risk, performance, and supply continuity improvements across assigned categories within a regulated aerospace and defense environment. This individual contributor role partners closely with the Category Manager to execute category strategies through disciplined, end-to-end sourcing activities, including data-driven decision support, sourcing execution, supplier evaluation and selection, and complex commercial negotiations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead end-to-end competitive sourcing initiatives aligned to approved category strategies
  • Drive cross-functional sourcing decisions by partnering with Engineering, Quality, Program, Legal, and Finance
  • Develop data-driven sourcing and supplier recommendations
  • Lead and support complex commercial negotiations
  • Execute all sourcing activities in full compliance with FAR, DFARS, and company procurement policies
  • Collaborate with Supplier Development, Quality, and Program teams to address supplier performance issues
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks
  • Serve as the primary sourcing interface for assigned programs and initiatives
  • Provide regular updates to the Category Manager
  • Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 6 or more years of related experience

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings with a basic knowledge of IPC standards (e.g., IPC-A-610, IPC-6012)
