We have the opportunity to join the Supplier Relationship Management Team, which is dedicated to the group achieving value from supplier relationships to drive significant benefits to the group’s cost base whilst ensuring quality and reliability of services provided by suppliers through Supplier Relationship Management (SRM).
Job Responsibility:
Contribute to the formulation and delivery of the group’s supplier management frameworks, strategies and policies
Lead the delivery of effective supplier / contract management at the organisation with a particular emphasis on providing such support to large/strategic projects or spend areas
Identify commitments / project deliverables referenced in contractual documentation and be able to explain these to stakeholders
Engage with suppliers on contractual performance, as well as providing support on specific projects
Be a source of expertise to the broader SRM team on the creation and implementation of processes required to drive consistently high standards of supplier / contract management within the group
May be consulted at the contract negotiation stage to ensure a process of continuous improvement in such documentation is delivered
Requirements:
Significant proven experience of working within a SRM or Procurement team
The ability to develop effective relationships and have experience of managing and influencing internal and external stakeholders at different levels on seniority
A deep understanding of the value delivered by good contract management and implementation
SME expertise in supplier / contract management with a good understanding of how the full procurement cycle, including supplier management, operates
Ability to communicate effectively at a senior level with highly developed written, verbal and presentation skills
