As a Supplier Quality Manager at Kempower, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the ever-evolving EV market. We are seeking an experienced Supplier Development professional to join our team, focused on managing and advancing relationships with electro-mechanical suppliers. On a typical day, you'll work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure Kempower compliance requirements are met in our value chain.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and execute supplier development action plans to improve electro-mechanical suppliers’ KPIs
Participate in developing our supplier quality processes
Analyze supplier performance and capabilities, identify development opportunities, and drive impactful development actions
Serve as the lead auditor according to the supplier development action plan, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and company requirements
Support new product introduction and quality assurance activities for new supplier selection
Maintain robust documentation and reporting
Requirements:
M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Engineering or Economics and Business Administration, or a qualified equivalent
Proven experience in supplier development or quality engineering, particularly in the electro-mechanical component sector
Previous auditing experience or a lead auditor qualification (such as ISO 9001)
Knowledge of Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and LEAN principles
Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills with a systematic approach to work
Strong teamworking and leadership skills to drive change, along with excellent problem-solving abilities
Personal drive to identify development opportunities and take the lead on new initiatives
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to travel for on-site supplier audits and potential supplier validation, as required
Proficiency in spoken and written English is required
Finnish is considered as an asset
