Join William Grant & Sons as a Supplier Quality Engineer, where you’ll play a key role in shaping the quality and consistency of our most premium products. Based at our Cumbernauld site, you’ll work closely with luxury suppliers, technical teams, and operations to ensure every material, component, and finished product meets the uncompromising standards our brands are known for. Job Responsibility:
Strengthen and support Luxury Operations teams to deliver high performance and key quality KPIs
Review supplier and factory capabilities, ensuring designs and processes meet essential quality standards
Implement and maintain quality standards for new luxury products and align these with manufacturing and quality teams
Support NPD by embedding quality and customer expectations from concept to launch
Verify incoming luxury materials and lead follow‑up on non‑conformances
Conduct inspections of dry goods and finished products, analysing trends aligned to Arete KPIs
Manage customer and consumer complaint investigations and validate corrective actions
Develop and approve technical specifications for luxury packaging
Ensure compliance with H&S, environmental, and internal quality processes
Maintain supplier non‑conformance systems and validate corrective and preventative actions
Collaborate across teams and contribute to problem‑solving and continuous improvement activities
Requirements:
Experience in supplier quality, manufacturing quality, technical engineering, or a similar role
Strong understanding of quality systems, specification control, and supplier assurance
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence suppliers and internal teams
A structured, analytical approach to problem‑solving and data interpretation
Confidence managing investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventative actions
A continuous improvement mindset and curiosity about how things can work better
Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and functions
