Job Responsibility:

  • Travel regularly to perform audits of special processes and Quality System at suppliers
  • Evaluate suppliers conformity to manufacturing processes (special processes) requirements
  • Review laboratory test reports from suppliers in order to approve their manufacturing processes
  • Plan supplier evaluation activities in order to support all Bombardier programs
  • Evaluate suppliers quality system for compliance to AS9100
  • Evaluate manufacturing processes deviations requested by suppliers
  • Actively participate and lead special projects to improve our internal business processes

Requirements:

  • Hold a bachelor degree in engineering
  • Have experience related to the special processes for the manufacturing of aerospace metallic parts (heat treat, welding, shot peen, machining, assembly, chemical processing, corrosion protection)
  • Have strong leadership, problem solving, flexibility and project management skills
  • Have a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in supplier audits for Quality Management System and Special Processes in aerospace industries
  • Have excellent communication skills (written and spoken) both in French and English
  • Have experience with suppliers interactions
  • Have excellent knowledge of Nadcap, AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality standards

Nice to have:

Knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Power Query, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Sharepoint) is an asset
