The Supplier Performance Manager leads a global team of supplier performance professionals while also directly managing a portfolio of strategic suppliers. The role owns supplier performance standards, key metrics, and escalation management, working cross-functionally to identify risks and drive corrective actions when supplier commitments are not met. As the senior interface between Markem-Imaje and its suppliers on performance, the Supplier Performance Manager ensures alignment on capacity, lead times, and execution capability. The role manages and develops a structured supplier engagement and disciplined performance management process. This is expected to strengthen supply-chain resilience, improve responsiveness, and positively influence customer service outcomes.
Job Responsibility:
Own global supplier performance outcomes, ensuring consistent targets, governance, and escalation practices across all supplier portfolios
Act as the senior escalation point for critical supplier performance issues, driving timely decisions and effective cross functional mitigation actions
Lead global supplier performance and capacity review cadence to align supplier commitments with demand forecast and Sales & Operational Planning priorities
Coordinate cross-functional recovery actions across planning, procurement, operations, and logistics to protect customer service
Provide strategic oversight of supplier end-of-life, last-time-buy, and transition risks to minimise disruption and inventory exposure
Embed supplier performance insights into planning, inventory, and phase-out decisions to strengthen supply-chain resilience
Develop, coordinate, and motivate a global team of supplier performance professionals, ensuring clear accountability, engagement, and capability development
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field required
advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred
Proven experience in supplier performance management, procurement, or sourcing within a global supply-chain environment
4+ years of leadership experience in a global organization
Strong influencing, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive outcomes without direct authority
Solid background in supplier relationship management, performance governance, and issue resolution
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using data to support decision making
Familiarity with ERP systems and reporting tools expected
Fluent English and Polish communication skills (written and verbal) are required
