You will be leading a team of ~5 managers, who in turn are leading a team of >60 talented supply chain professionals over 3 different regions (Linkou, Tainan, Korea) and multiple ERP systems (SAP and Oracle) during a time with high projected future growth in a matrix organization. Driving for collaboration to capture synergies over the different functions and regions is vital. You are an integral part of the SS&P Northeast Asia staff and represent the operational performance of the suppliers. Additionally you are the sparring partner for the staff team in process improvement. Together with the Global Supplier Operations management team, you create, enrich and execute the vision to further optimize local operations in all locations and drive global standardization regardless of ERP system.
Job Responsibility:
Managing a team and drive people and process performance and development and secure continuous service for internal and external customers
Drive change and functional integration over multiple locations
Efficiently driving the operational R2P process to secure material availability at the right time and cost with minimal effort
Managing the relationship and performance for tail (smaller) supplier accounts
Act on operational and tactical level in management teams of the SS&P NEA Management department and drive goals in line with the SS&P vision
Coordinate and manage operational annual plans
Build and maintain a network of in- and external stakeholders/partners and represent the organization
Evaluate organizational design for own functional discipline, (work)processes and systems and initiate and implement changes and improvements
Coach and continuously develop employees
Requirements:
MSc degree preferred
8-12 years relevant experience in a complex supplier oriented environment
Knowledge of ERP systems like SAP and Ariba
People management and previous procurement or supply chain management experience
Excellent social and communication skills and demonstrated ability to coach & develop employees
Strong data analysis and problem solving abilities
Proven cultural awareness and sensitivity in global organization
Knowledge of lean principles and continuous improvements methodology
Track record of change management in a complex international stakeholder field
