Job Description

We are now looking for a Supplier Financial Analyst for our Airbus GBS team. The Supplier Financial Analysis team is a key enabler for Airbus to understand the financial health of its supply chain, identify risks and vulnerabilities at the earliest stage possible and pro-actively propose & support mitigation risk actions. The Team acts as a business partner for the Procurement Community where we bring financial expertise and awareness. Being able to understand the financial solidity and resilience of our suppliers is key in order to strengthen our supply chain and achieve our production targets.

Job Responsibility

  • Act as a Portfolio Risk Manager, supporting the Team monitoring the financial health of Airbus' suppliers
  • Support with financial analysis based on past performance and future performance
  • Contribute & support the Procurement Teams to the Suppliers Financial Risk Committee preparation
  • Support Procurement Teams in crisis management, Request For Proposal selection process, Merger & Acquisition activities and strategic initiatives
  • Contribute to increase financial awareness outside of Finance and deliver training to the Procurement community
  • Deliver financial analysis for both private and listed companies
  • Assess suppliers’ investment capacity and build simulations & scenario analysis
  • Maintain and develop financial models and analytical tools used by the Team

Requirements

  • Master degree in Corporate Finance, Financial Analysis or related discipline
  • Good accounting skills and understanding of financial statements
  • Financial modeling
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Team player with entrepreneurial mindset
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Strong ability to interact and influence
  • Negotiation level of English
  • Proficiency of Google tools and Microsoft Office suite

Nice to have

  • French Language would be nice to have
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and supply chain processes will be a strong plus
  • Strong Stakeholder Management skills
