Boeing Global Services, Consumables & Expendables (C&E) Distribution Business is looking for a Supplier Field Engineer EMEA in Burgess Hill, UK. In this role, you will support supplier quality, compliance, and performance across the EMEA region. Acting as the liaison between Boeing Distribution and suppliers, you will ensure products and processes meet quality and regulatory standards. You will collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues, drive improvements, and monitor supplier performance. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are key to maintaining supplier compliance and supporting Boeing’s aerospace supply chain excellence.

Job Responsibility:

  • Monitor and improve supplier manufacturing and quality performance
  • Conduct supplier audits, assessments, and on-site evaluations
  • Investigate nonconformances, escapes, and corrective actions
  • Support root cause analysis and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions
  • Assist the Expeditor team with follow-ups and supplier escalations
  • Ensure supplier compliance with Boeing requirements, customer specifications, aviation/industry standards, and regulatory and quality system requirements
  • Review supplier processes related to manufacturing, inspection, documentation, traceability, and material control
  • Partner with sourcing, quality, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve supplier issues
  • Provide field support for product acceptance, issue resolution, and recovery plans
  • Track supplier metrics such as quality performance, on-time delivery, responsiveness, and process capability

Requirements:

  • 3+ years’ experience in supplier quality management or related field
  • Experience in the aerospace industry
  • Proven ability to conduct supplier audits and on-site evaluations
  • Knowledge of aerospace quality standards (e.g., AS9100) and regulatory requirements
  • Experience working with common ERP systems (preferably SAP)
  • Current legal authorization to work immediately in the UK

  • Certification in quality management systems (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001)
  • Demonstrated success in root cause analysis and supplier development
  • Familiarity with regulatory bodies such as FAA or EASA
