Job Responsibility:

  • The Supplier Development Engineer is responsible for evaluating, selecting, developing, and monitoring the performance of strategic suppliers, ensuring compliance with quality, cost, delivery, capacity, and service (QCDCS) standards
  • The role ensures proper process implementation, introduces new suppliers, and conducts audits, risk analyses, and continuous improvement activities to strengthen the supply chain
  • The position coordinates component localization projects, material qualification, and technical development, ensuring that suppliers meet engineering specifications and customer requirements

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in supplier development, supplier quality, or supply chain
  • Solid knowledge of metalworking, basic manufacturing, and production processes (machining, stamping, casting, welding, aluminum/plastic injection molding, heat treatments, coatings, etc.)
  • Experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA (AMEF), 8D, SPC, control plans, and technical documentation
  • Experience evaluating production process capabilities and conducting supplier audits
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, tolerances, and technical specifications
  • Intermediate to advanced English for communication with international suppliers
