Job Responsibility:
Manage daily inbound and outbound warehouse operations to ensure accurate and timely shipments
Supervise temporary labor, including training, scheduling, and performance oversight
Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee cycle counts
Ensure compliance with OSHA, FDA, DOT, and internal safety standards
Coordinate product rotation, destruction of out-of-code items, and surge event preparation
Serve as a subject matter expert for route tablets and warehouse systems
Communicate operational risks, delays, and opportunities to partners
Investigate and resolve inventory, route, and delivery discrepancies
Support cost control, process improvement, and operational efficiency initiative
Directly supervises temporary warehouse labor and is responsible for hiring, training, work assignment, performance feedback, and corrective action in accordance with company policy
Safely operate a box truck driving back and forth from the storage lot
Load and unload cargo as needed
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies
Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
Keep the truck clean and properly maintained
Report vehicle maintenance issues promptly and keep box trucks property maintained and serviced
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
2+ months of warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to obtain and maintain DOT certification/medical card
Associate's degree or equivalent experience required
Minimum 6 months of related warehouse or logistics experience
Proficiency with Excel and warehouse technology systems
Inventory management and warehouse operations
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Ability to analyze data and manage competing priorities
Proficiency with route tablets and reporting tools
Experience driving a box truck preferred
Knowledge of DOT safety regulations preferred
