The Training Supervisor supports distribution center (DC) operations and oversees Training Coordinators across multiple shifts in a highly automated, multi-channel environment. This role is essential to the successful onboarding, development, and ongoing training of employees within the distribution center. It focuses on building workforce skills and knowledge to drive overall efficiency, safety, and operational success. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, with responsibility for teams operating across all three shifts.
Job Responsibility:
Design, develop, and update training programs to align with operational goals, policies, and industry standard practices
Responsible for the onboarding process for new hires, providing comprehensive training on company policies, safety procedures, and job-specific tasks
Ensure all employees receive thorough safety training, including the proper use of equipment, handling hazardous materials, and adherence to safety protocols
Monitor and assess employee performance during training, providing constructive feedback and working closely with management to address any performance issues
Maintain accurate records of training sessions, attendance, and employee progress
Generate reports to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs (Power BI, SCI/Cognos, etc.)
Maintain and use Crocs Learning Management System. Develop checklists, assigning training, monitor course completion for operations, etc.
Collaborate with department heads, Operations Managers, Engineering, Safety, and Human Resources to ensure training programs align with overall business objectives
Facilitate effective communication channels between management and employees, ensuring that feedback is received and addressed promptly
Lead a team of Training Coordinators across multiple shifts: Timekeeping
Development of training skills, coaching, and feedback
Consistency in training delivered
Facilitate regularly scheduled touch bases
Dotted-line oversight of Department Trainers
Quarterly trainings on training methods and soft skills
Review process changes since last meeting
Provide feedback on new hire experience
Maintaining open communication by setting clear objectives
Providing timely and effective feedback to team members and other key partners
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
Previous experience in training and development, preferably in a distribution or warehouse environment
Knowledge of distribution center operations, safety standards, and industry regulations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
Proficiency in using training software and technology
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Kronos timekeeping
