Job Description:

Supervisor role overseeing security systems, including video surveillance and access control, at Aflac's Columbus, GA location. The role involves team supervision, vendor management, system administration, and ensuring compliance with security policies.

Job Responsibility:

  • Directly supervise and mentor team members, including task assignment, training, and performance management
  • Oversee third-party security technology vendors and integrators, ensuring contract compliance, quality of work, and on-time delivery
  • Act as the escalation point for complex systems issues and operational disruptions
  • Manage enterprise video surveillance systems administration, configuration, health monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Oversee physical access control systems, including user access levels, hardware coordination, and system integrity
  • Ensure that physical security systems align with corporate security policies, cybersecurity standards, and compliance requirements
  • Coordinate with internal and external partners, lead security system, camera deployment upgrade projects
  • Establish and maintain SOPs, documentation, and system diagrams for physical security systems
  • Track system performance, outages, and service tickets to identify trends and improvement opportunities
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Engineering or related field
  • 4+ years of experience supporting technology systems
  • 3+ years of supervisory/senior/lead experience
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to balance hands-on technical work with supervisory responsibilities
  • Strong attention to detail with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • Camera systems deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management
  • Basic project management principles and vendor coordination
  • Strong understanding of network fundamentals as they relate to security systems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office suite

Nice to have:

LeneS2 certification, Milestone Certified Integration Technician (MCIT) or similar
