Job Responsibility:

  • Assigned supervisory and clinical responsibilities of the nursing unit/department and staff related to the coordination and operation of the department/unit
  • Team member responsibilities include leading, supervising, and influencing the daily operational activities associated with the assigned team
  • Supports the overall business plan by monitoring team performance and outcomes relative to established goals/measurements
  • Participates in rotational on-call duties including, but not limited to, responding to emergency situations, maintenance malfunctions, or staffing situations that require coverage

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree, an Associate's Degree in Nursing and current enrollment in a BSN program with expected graduation date within 2 years from date of hire or transfer will be accepted
  • 3 years of experience
  • Must have prior leadership experience or be a team member on the department/unit for which candidate is applying
  • California RN License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers, issued by the American Heart Association (All units)
  • PALS Certification (American Heart Association): Hematology Oncology, Outpatient
  • Proton Therapy
  • Pediatric ICU/Critical Care
