Job Responsibility:

  • Manages the revenue cycle department in various duties such as account management, communications with insurance providers, collections, cash posting, contract analysis, and billing
  • Implements an effective system to ensure that accurate billing information is entered into the billing system
  • Evaluates financial hardship applications while maintaining compliance with the company's regulatory, safety, quality, and confidentiality protocols and standards
  • Coordinates the handling of patient complaints in respect to billing and collections to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Assists management in defining project scope and deliverables that achieve goals and comply with the company's regulatory, safety, quality, and confidentiality protocols and standards
  • Coordinates cross-functional activities and communications with internal and client teams to further Revenue Cycle success
  • Implements feedback from key stakeholders to assess revenue cycle performance and partner with vendors to meet established benchmarks and goals
  • Manages staff performance by providing regular feedback, performance reviews, and one-on-one meetings
  • Devises department workflow and staffing to ensure industry-proven best practices are instilled within the company's strategies and end product offerings

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of reconciliation and/or analyst experience
  • Working knowledge of execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills
  • Working knowledge of business intelligence
  • Working knowledge of problem solving and decision making skills
  • Adept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills
  • Post secondary/high school education or specialized training, i.e., technical/vocational programs

Nice to have:

  • Working knowledge of collaboration and teamwork
  • Certified Revenue Cycle Professional (CRCP) preferred
