As the Supervisor, Production Line Operations you will plan, coordinate, and supervise the line production and assembly of products for the company. Responsible for monitoring processes and identifying and correcting any error as it occurs throughout the processing procedure. Ensures adherence to all specified procedures and regulations.
Job Responsibility:
Provide supervision of manufacturing/production activities to include: schedule of responsibilities and employee work assignments
supervise and train employees operating assigned stations along a processing line
Monitor and track towards achievement of key performance indicators (safety, damages, inventory, order fulfillment accuracy, and productivity)
Monitor processes and identify and correct any errors which may occur throughout the production order process
Coordinate equipment and staffing needs to ensure timely and accurate production and assembly of product or materials
Maintain and ensure compliance with manufacturing and production safety and security programs
Assist in the preparation of correspondence, reports, operations, maintenance, and/or safety manuals
Routinely perform physical inventory counts or as deemed appropriate
Monitor the manufacturing line and use of materials
ensure manufacturing lines are operating to meet delivery expectations
Routinely inspect the physical condition of the facility and/or equipment
order testing, maintenance, repairs, and/or replacements as necessary
Review demand forecast
estimate peak production periods and issue work assignments
Supervise the day-to-day activities of the assigned team. Provide leadership and direction to members of the department, performing those responsibilities in accordance with the established policies and applicable laws. Responsible for participating in interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning or directing work, appraising performance, disciplining team members and resolving problems. Work with Human Resources to resolve more complex team member-related issues

Requirements:
High School Diploma or completion of GED equivalent
Three (3) years of line manufacturing experience
Knowledge of widely accepted manufacturing standards of practice
Proficiency using simple mathematics
Strong knowledge of OSHA workplace safety standards
Proficiency using a Personal Computer (PC) to include Microsoft Word and Excel
Proficiency using an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
Good communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate in English both verbally and in writing
People management skills and the ability to effectively influence others
Leadership skills and the ability to lead a diverse team of coworkers
Critical thinking skills and the ability to be a problem solver
Good customer service skills and the ability to put the customer/consumer first
Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance
