  • Lead and oversee manufacturing cost accounting activities, including standard costing, actual costing, cost runs, and cost variance analysis
  • Maintain and validate key costing elements such as BOMs, routings, cost sheets, cost centers, labor rates, and overhead rates in partnership with Engineering, Production, and Operations teams
  • Supervise the monthly cost close process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and clear explanations of variances related to efficiency, volume, mix, absorption, and manufacturing performance
  • Prepare and communicate financial bridges versus budget, forecast, and prior periods, providing clear insights to finance and non-finance stakeholders
  • Support plant controllership activities, ensuring compliance with accounting policies, SOX controls, internal control requirements, and audit standards
  • Partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain Finance, FP&A, and Operations teams to analyze margins, productivity, conversion costs, capacity, inventory performance, scrap, rework, waste, and cost-saving opportunities
  • Coordinate plant budgeting and forecasting processes related to manufacturing costs, plant expenses, volume assumptions, capacity scenarios, and sensitivity analysis
  • Monitor inventory valuation, physical-to-book differences, inventory adjustments, and audit findings to support accurate reporting and strong financial controls
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and quantify financial impacts to support operational efficiency and working capital optimization
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of cost analysts, ensuring strong technical execution, accountability, and continuous development
