Job Responsibility

  • Define the master plan in the short and medium term based on the current demands and forecast established by the Demand Planning & Product Manager
  • Develop and implement talent development plans that include regular performance reviews, leadership identification, and development within the team
  • Provide training to all personal that need to use or made transaction on the system
  • Provide analysis and support to ongoing and new planning technology initiatives
  • Guides users in a technical & functional way
  • Collaborate with other functional areas to improve planning processes, including Manufacturing, Customer Care, Demand Planning, Supply planning, Engineering, Logistics, Purchasing, and Product Line Management
  • Establish weekly conferences with corporate (Product manager & Master scheduler) to show the capacity against the demand per product and in the same way require information of the future demand in this way you can define if the installed capacity is sufficient or if you need to increase it or adjust it down
  • Supervise and support the activities of the Buyer-Expeditor department that ensures that the appropriate material is available in the adequate quantities to meet production demands
  • Responsible for timely delivery of material to the plant, and from the plant to its destination
  • Provide order status reports for all open backlogs to Business Operation and regional sales management
  • Direct the control processes including measurement of key performance indicators and recommended actions over the supply chain, planning procedures, manufacturing and distribution. These include metrics for customer service, supply chain costs, and working capital
  • Thorough understanding of the integration with other SAP modules including: (MM) Materials Management, (PP) Production Planning, (SD) Sales and Distribution

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related area, or 3 to 5 years of experience in similar position
  • 10 years of experience in the field of materials
  • Proficient in English language (written and spoken)
  • Microsoft Office Program: Word, Excel, Power Point, Access
  • Additional planning tools preferred
  • Advance knowledge in SAP system
