The incumbent will supervise, review, and coordinate the preparation of monthly payroll & payroll added cost entries, SG&A accruals, Fixed asset transactions, account and bank account reconciliations and related management reports. Trains, develops and appraises staff of 2 in order to maintain a high level of work efficiency, competency and flexibility.
Job Responsibility:

Provide leadership, guidance, coaching, and process oversight for corporate accounting
Provide direction to individuals regarding their role and responsibilities
Empower and promote the proper level of responsibility and authority for others
Demonstrate the highest level of integrity and trust
Promote the corporate controller’s group by developing strong relationships
Promote the matrix organizational structure
Responsible for coordinating and reviewing journal entries and account analysis
Coordinate and review analyses and exhibits for the financial statement commentary package
Coordinate and review preparation and issuance of various reports to management
Coordinate and review special projects
Coordinate year-end audit closing schedules and monitors progress
Initiate, research and document improvements to current methods and procedures
Promote greater analyses skills across the finance team
Perform or direct the performance of special projects as assigned
Investigate and implement process changes to promote internal controls
Plan, coordinate and review work assignments
Identify training needs and provide resources
Establish and implement processes and procedures to meet departmental internal controls requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Accounting or equivalent
CPA and/or master’s degree preferred
Minimum 5 to 8 years of accounting experience
Strong interpersonal, communication and administrative skills
PC literate within a Windows environment with excellent knowledge of Microsoft applications
knowledge of SAP preferred
