Job Description

MinRes is seeking an experienced Mining Supervisor to join our team on a 7 days on / 7 nights on / 7 days off roster (2/1). Reporting to the Mining Superintendent.

Job Responsibility

  • Guide, mentor, and lead a crew of up to 35 operators to reach production targets safely and on time
  • Overseeing and managing assets, including people, plant, and equipment, to achieve operational outcomes in safety, quality, performance, efficiency, and cost
  • Conducting regular site inspections and daily interactions with the workforce
  • Providing technical and practical support to operators
  • Ensuring team output and KPIs are on track, in line with Company objectives
  • Maintaining and fostering a working environment that prompts safety in all that we do, whilst also providing outstanding service

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working within a Mining and Production Environment
  • Demonstrated 2 years’ supervisory experience in an open pit environment
  • Hold a Section 44 and Statutory – Schedule 26 or working towards sitting the exam
  • Ability to identify continuous improvement initiatives
  • Strong focus on safety and fostering a zero harm culture
