Supervisor Maintenance

• Oversees quality of work, safety, and overall performance of assigned staff
• Gives work direction to assigned employees in assigned area
• Evaluates assigned employees’ job performance
• Assists engineering as needed
• Coordinates with operations in scheduling equipment for repairs, and construction (depending on assignment)
• Track head count and verify timesheets to ensure cost and schedule compliance
• Perform on-call duties
• Issue confined space work permits
• Responsible for the supervision of up to 10 employees

• A minimum of 5 years of related on-the-job experience
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Basic knowledge of refinery operations
• Specific craft knowledge
• Good interpersonal skills, self-starter and safety sensitive
• Troubleshooting skills and ability to function effectively in a team atmosphere
• Some experience working with job related equipment is essential
• May require special training depending on craft and location: Eng Was (188 Montana) Station Configuration/Fiber Optics, Electrical & Instrumentation, Laser alignment, compressors, welding and equipment operation
• May require certification in any or all of the following depending on craft and location: Certification in Level II ISA, Journeyman Electrical License, Crane and Rigging Inspector Certification, etc., Measurement & Controls, Fundamental of Management/Supervisor, Control System & P/C geared for ABB (Bailey)(188 Montana) Configuration
