Job Description:

Supervisor, Maintenance (Utilities & Facilities) for Pandora's new jewellery crafting facility in Vietnam. The role involves ensuring optimal performance of utility systems, implementing preventive maintenance programs, supporting sustainability initiatives, and leading a team of technicians.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure all Utilities & Facilities systems (chiller, HVAC, air compressor, RO/DI, power, fire, water, etc.) are operated and maintained at optimal performance, safety, and reliability
  • Implement and sustain an effective Preventive Maintenance (PM) and CMMS program to minimize unplanned downtime
  • Provide stable utility supply (air, water, power, cooling, etc.) for production without interruption
  • Support energy saving and sustainability initiatives, ensuring systems meet Pandora’s green factory standards
  • Lead, train, and motivate technicians to perform all maintenance tasks safely and efficiently
  • Coordinate closely with contractors, vendors, and other departments to ensure smooth operations, repairs, and continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with Vietnam legal regulations, EHS policies, and Pandora global maintenance standards
  • Operation & Monitoring: Operate and monitor daily running condition of all utility and facility systems (HVAC, power, water, air, etc.)
  • Conduct routine inspections, parameter logging, and performance checks (temperature, pressure, flow rate, kWh, etc.)
  • Troubleshoot abnormalities and coordinate corrective actions with internal team or vendors
  • Maintain safe working conditions and ensure compliance with EHS standards
  • Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Prepare and execute preventive maintenance (PM) plans for all utilities & facilities equipment according to CMMS schedule
  • Analyze breakdown root causes and implement corrective/preventive actions (RCFA)
  • Ensure timely completion of PM/CM work orders and documentation in CMMS
  • Review and update equipment master list, technical drawings, and spare part list
  • Contractor & Vendor Coordination: Manage maintenance service contracts (chiller, HVAC, compressor, BMS, fire system, etc.)
  • Supervise contractor works to ensure safety, quality, and on-time completion
  • Review service reports, technical proposals, and quotations from suppliers
  • Support procurement team in technical evaluation and vendor selection
  • Reporting & Documentation: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports summarizing equipment status, maintenance activities, and utility performance
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance checklists, calibration, and inspection logs
  • Support internal and external audits related to maintenance and facilities management
  • Team & People Development: Supervise and coach Utility Technicians in day-to-day operation and maintenance work
  • Conduct safety toolbox meetings and technical training for the team
  • Evaluate technician performance and support development plans
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive improvement projects for system reliability, safety, and energy performance
  • Participate in new system commissioning, equipment handover, and upgrade planning
  • Share technical knowledge and lessons learned across maintenance and FM teams

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in planning, repairing and preventive maintenance machinery and utility
  • Experience maintenance & preventive maintenance for HVAC, Compressor, Electrical, Pumping
  • Must have knowledge and understanding in industrial measuring instruments such as temperature, humidity, pressure, electrical conductivity, flow rate, etc.
  • Drive the solution to most complex business problems
  • Possess the strategic perspective and create sustained results for Pandora (financial, non-financial)
  • Demonstrate ability to make hard decisions, making the right trade-offs
  • Self-motivated and hungry enough to work hard
