Job Description:

Supervisor responsible for Load Settlement Planning and Operations, ensuring reporting duties for ISO-NE wholesale electricity markets, regulatory orders, and ad-hoc initiatives are met. Involves supervising employees, coordinating processes, and implementing tools and applications.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supervise employees and coordinate business processes for Load Settlement Group reporting
  • Ensure timely and accurate reports to ISO-NE and other stakeholders
  • Provide accurate metering and billing data
  • Operate or oversee the Load Settlement System
  • Assist in developing and maintaining a capable workforce
  • Maintain appropriate documentation
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and legislation
  • Represent the group in discussions with internal parties
  • Support planning, testing and implementation of software requirements
  • Assist in developing and administering the department’s operating budget
  • Prepare and present detailed reports and presentations
  • Act as Eversource representative on the ISO-NE Meter Reader Working group

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics/Finance, Engineering, other data intensive field or equivalent experience
  • Eight (8) plus years of related experience
  • Lead or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
  • Efficient and effective decision making and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to multi-task and shift among multiple priorities
  • Ability to work effectively with various levels within the organization
  • Strong and positive interaction skills
  • clear oral and written communication skills
  • Strong customer focus
  • Strong functional understanding of computerized business systems
  • Ability to use and apply sound judgment
  • Ability to interpret and relate complex information
  • Initiative and personal ownership

  • Demonstrated skill using and manipulating large computer databases
  • Knowledge of Eversource Load Settlement reporting procedures and software
  • PC computer skills (e.g., SAS programming, JCL, AQT, SQL, VBA)
  • Experience with the Eversource billing and metering systems
