The Supervisor will be excited about guiding, training and supporting their team members and is highly motivated to help ICONEX fulfill its larger mission. THIS JOB IS A NIGHT SHIFT OPPORTUNITY ON OUR B SHIFT. 12 HOUR SHIFTS WORKING 3 DAYS AND OFF 4 DAYS THEN WORKING 4 DAYS AND OFF 3.

Job Responsibility

  • Set performance goals and project deadlines
  • Delegate work to employees, track progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Address problems with work quality, issues between employees and other concerns
  • Ensure employees adhere to company policies and legal regulations
  • Serve as a supportive link between team members and management
  • Conduct performance reviews, motivate team members and create strategies to boost productivity
  • Ensure that Safety Practices and Policies are the number 1 priority
  • Assume responsibility for manufacturing processes in the plant including inspection of the product prior to shipment
  • Create and oversee employee training schedules
  • Support employees as the subject matter expert on all processes
  • Work closely with other Management to coordinate the best practices
  • Proactively manage orders throughout the manufacturing process, anticipate issues and resolve, manage inventory allocation
  • Respond to escalated customer needs
  • Work with appropriate departments to resolve issues
  • Drive improvement in processes
  • Work closely with all areas to facilitate and ensure successful manufacturing of products
  • Always strive for opportunities to add value to the team

Requirements

  • Previous Experience in a Supervisory Capacity
  • Strong people skills required
  • High energy level, good organization and multi-tasking skills
  • Must be able to handle high volume email traffic and consistent requests
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Must be a problem solver with the ability to create and follow schedules
  • Self-starter and willingness to assume accountability for plant practices required
  • 5+ years’ manufacturing plant experience in Slitting or similar operation is required
  • 3-5 years of Plant Supervisory Experience
