Job Description:

Supervise a unit of service that collectively contributes to the provision of high-quality patient care, monitoring and supporting the desired outcomes established for your specific area of responsibility. Collaborate with other area supervisors as required to support the hospital's role as a community health service provider. Assist in implementing a unit Quality Management Program consistent with the hospital-wide Performance Improvement Plan, operating the units within financial and productivity guidelines, and setting goals and developing policies that support this objective.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supervise a unit of service contributing to high-quality patient care
  • Collaborate with other area supervisors to support the hospital's role as a community health service provider
  • Assist in implementing a unit Quality Management Program
  • Operate units within financial and productivity guidelines
  • Provide for quality services by ensuring staff are well trained
  • Address, escalate, or resolve unit issues, including customer complaints, concerns, and suggestions

  • Registered Nurse: CA, upon hire
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
