Supervising assigned aircraft maintenance employees and responsible for the daily and overall operations of the aircraft maintenance department, to include safety, schedules, personnel and quality.
Job Responsibility:

Perform supervisory responsibilities for assigned employees and area(s)
Responsible for coordinating unscheduled aircraft maintenance and work performed at a location other than the Repair stations fixed location
Supervise the performance of maintenance
Oversee and manage the resources to maximize productivity and minimize DOI
Submit requests for engineering support
Support UMT
Administers team related policies & procedures
Manage time keeping system
Coordinate technical shop floor issues
Facilitate DMM meetings with all departments & shops
Monitor housing and facilities for compliance
Identify and communicate best practices and champion continuous improvement initiatives
Engage in BAS Network Database and transfer SAP Work Orders into database
Engage in BAS Network Reporting
Communicate track and report aircraft turnover
Determine staffing and training needs
Attend recruiting event and create partnerships
Act on behalf of Operations Manager during absence
Solicit feedback from staff for development of new concepts
Requirements:
Minimum 10 years of experience in aircraft heavy/line maintenance
Diploma / Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years leadership / Supervisory or Lead experience (Aircraft Maintenance preferred)
Thorough working knowledge and experience of and with EASA, FAA and CAAS requirements and other Asian NAA requirements pertaining to maintenance programs and procedures
Verbal and Interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships
Demonstrated Leadership skills necessary to make decisions with sound judgment, train and mentor employees
Planning and organizational skills necessary to coordinate workload around multiple assignments
Accounting and budgeting principals acumen necessary to read and interpret profit/loss statements
Presentation skills necessary to effectively communicate
Research and analytical skills necessary to collect, analyze, and interpret survey data
Recruitment and Interviewing skills, with the ability to make sound decisions on hiring
