Job Description:

Assist with guest services at the Four Points by Sheraton Guilin Lingui, process check-ins and payments, manage reservations, and uphold Marriott standards of quality and service

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist staff with problem payments
  • follow up with guests regarding satisfaction
  • process guest check-ins and payments
  • set up accurate accounts for guests
  • address sold-out situations and find alternative accommodations
  • coordinate with housekeeping and other departments
  • review shift logs and document pertinent information
  • balance and drop receipts
  • assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating employees
  • report accidents and unsafe conditions
  • anticipate and address guests’ service needs
  • speak professionally and maintain effective communication

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • at least 1 year of related work experience
  • no supervisory experience required
