This position involves working onsite at The Westin Yantai in a Supervisory role at the front desk. Responsibilities include ensuring guest satisfaction, managing front desk workflows, coordinating with housekeeping, and resolving guest-related issues. The role also includes assisting management with hiring, training, and coaching employees while maintaining compliance with company policies.
Job Responsibility:
Assist staff with processing credit card payment issues
follow up on guest satisfaction with related issues
facilitate guest check-ins including confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing room keys
coordinate with housekeeping on room readiness
block rooms in the system and manage alternative accommodations during sold-out situations
train, schedule, and coach employees
answer telephones with proper etiquette
maintain positive relationships with coworkers
adhere to safety and company policies
report accidents, injuries, or unsafe work conditions.
Requirements:
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
at least 1 year of related work experience
ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance
proficiency in guest check-ins, processing payments, and resolving guest requests
excellent communication skills using clear and professional language
ability to prepare and review documents accurately and completely.
