Supervisor Environmental Services

• Provide day-to-day supervision for the EVS department under guidance of Director and/or Manager
• ensures a consistently high level of environmental hygiene and aesthetics to patients, visitors and staff
• responsible for daily oversight of regulatory standards, financial stewardship of department operations and collaboration with other management team members to support the department in its daily functions
• Trains and develops a highly equipped and engaged Environmental Services Team using evidence-based techniques, process and mission metrics (KPIs) to ensure we provide a clean safe environment as we help save lives
• Provides supervision of staff, making sound business decisions in support of the hospital's mission, vision and values
• Demonstrates supervision in providing an optimal environment for patient care, safety, service, and value
• Supervises the day to day operations of the department
• ensures a clean safe environment and aesthetics to patients, family, visitors, physicians, nurses and staff as we help save lives

• High School Graduate General Studies upon hire and 3 Years in Environmental Services
• High School GED General Studies upon hire and 3 Years in Environmental Services
• Experience with typical EVS equipment/machinery
• Fire Safety (FIRESAFETY) within 90 Days

1 Year in supervisory level experience in supervising staff
