Job Description

Drive a team of highly capable and talented technicians for project work. Drive continous improvement in terms of optimisation of test cases and creating new ones. Responsible for training of existing employees with latest technological advancements. Manage iteration and resource management with justification of rehire. Responsible for tracking and maintaining KPI for the team. Assist engineers in the design, development, and testing of products and systems. Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of engineering equipment. Perform quality control checks and inspections on engineering projects. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and records. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Support the implementation of engineering processes and methodologies. Assist in the setup, execution and maintenance of laboratory equipment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • 15+ years of experience in a similar technical role
  • 5+ years in people management roles
  • Proficiency in engineering software and tools
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles and practices
  • Familiarity with quality control procedures
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Good at creating Test Plan, providing the Execution Timelines
  • Understanding the Test Scenarios / Cases and Executing them
  • Ability to provide the tests execution results / status on daily basis
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
  • Understanding of engineering processes and methodologies
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures

Nice to have

  • Experience in NAND or product reliability and testing
  • Understanding on the protocol specification (SD, SD Express, USB, SCSI, PCIe, NVMe, eMMC or UFS) and associated tools such as (PCAP, Lecroy analyzer)
