Job Description:

This full-time position as a Supervisor De Bares at Solaz, a Luxury Collection Resort in Los Cabos, involves providing high-quality guest service, supervising staff, and maintaining operational standards for food and beverage service. Key responsibilities include ensuring guest satisfaction, maintaining adherence to safety standards, and supporting staff training and development.

Job Responsibility:

  • Inspect grooming and attire of staff
  • communicate with guests, other employees, and departments to ensure guest needs are met
  • ensure staff is working together as a team
  • monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and well-being of guests
  • complete work orders for maintenance repairs
  • complete scheduled inventories of supplies, food, and liquor
  • check stock and requisition necessary supplies
  • obtain assigned bank and ensure accuracy of contracted monies
  • assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees
  • follow company and safety policies
  • report accidents or unsafe conditions
  • ensure uniform and appearance are clean and professional
  • welcome and acknowledge all guests
  • anticipate and address guests’ service needs
  • ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.

  • read and visually verify information in various formats
  • inspect tools, equipment, or machines
  • perform tasks requiring physical activity like lifting, bending, and moving through confined spaces
  • other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.

Nice to have:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • at least 2 years of related work experience
  • at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
