The Concessions Supervisor position is responsible for overseeing all food, beverage, and merchandise operations onboard of our six sailings vessels and Pier side café. Supervisors support both sightseeing cruises and private event sailings.
Job Responsibility:
Directly manage front of house team members (cashiers, bartenders, food runners) while having direct interaction with customers.
Maintain and control high volume food and beverage inventory using our digital inventory system. Enter requisition forms to request inventory from warehouse team.
Train, educate, and enforce responsible service of alcoholic beverages and evaluate compliance within corporate procedures.
Enforce company & venue standards for service, sanitation, and product and food quality.
Ensure all cash/alcohol handling procedures are documented and enforced.
Responsible for overseeing all cash handling procedures at beginning and end of shift
ensuring compliance with company policies.
Communicate with Food & Beverage Managers regularly regarding instances that take place on board
Encourage superior customer service in every guest interaction.
Requirements:
All applicants must be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred.
Prior supervisory experience required.
Ability to work onboard a moving vessel for extended periods of time.
Ability to multitask in a fast paced, team orientated setting.
Must be able to work fluently in English
Ability to work in an environment that may include exposure to loud noise, crowded spaces, and variable temperatures.
Ability to lift and carry items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds, up and down stairs/ramps.
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and professionalism in appearance and conduct
Ability to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including: constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time
Must meet state and local health requirements for food handlers and alcoholic beverage services.
Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training.
