Supervises and coordinates activities of personnel involved in a variety of clinical areas. Verifies that patients’ needs are met and evaluates care provided. Assigns duties to professional and auxiliary personnel in accordance with instructions. Oversees maintenance of patient clinical records and compiles reports on medical services rendered. Maintains established inventory standards for solutions, supplies, and equipment.

Requirements:
Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
Four (4) years of related experience
preferably in a lead or supervisory role
Knowledge of patient care best practices
Knowledge of library development and purchasing practices
Knowledge of inventory control
Skill in evaluating performance and operations and making recommendations for improvement
Skill in training and leading others
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to complete routine reports and correspondence
Ability to listen and accurately interpret others’ communication or instructions to take appropriate action
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
Ability to calculate figures and compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs and apply basic algebraic concepts
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and current Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certifications required (for Cardiac Rehab)
Current Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) (for Labor & Delivery)
Master’s Degree in Information Resources and Library Sciences (for Medical Library)
