Job Description:

The Supervisor – Clinic Nursing assists the Clinic Administrator with general supervision, direction, and support of the daily operations of the clinic in accordance with established policies, procedures and standards. In the absence of the manager, the supervisor has oversight of clinic operations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assists the Clinic Administrator with general supervision, direction, and support of the daily operations of the clinic
  • Has the authority to interview, hire, orient, terminate, promote, train and conduct performance evaluations
  • Assigns day-to-day work activities
  • directs the functional and technical job performance of team members
  • Allocate and direct staffing needs to meet patient, unit, and department needs
  • Manage performance including: setting goals, clarifying job expectations, monitoring performance progress, providing feedback
  • Works with individual clinic management and medical staff, to evaluate, monitor and enforce clinic specific protocols, procedures and objectives
  • Ensures charging/reimbursement changes are integrated into every level of clinic operations
  • Serves as the point of contact for patient and external customer complaints
  • Monitors the payroll system to help control employee time management
  • Monitors utilization of staff and supplies in assigned areas
  • Monitors compliance with policies, implements plans and recommends revisions as needed
  • Monitors and maintains licensure certification requirements for assigned staff
  • Supervises the day to day operations in the absence of the manager

Requirements:

  • Bachelors upon hire
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in the discipline
  • Registered Nurse: IA (RN:IA)
  • Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR)
