Job Responsibility:
To supervise the various aspects of production such as directing work to group of assemblers and technicians to ensure on-time production delivery as well as to ensure adherence at any time to relevant internal and local EHS-standards and maintaining quality standards of the product
Apply skills like active listening, writing, personnel coordination, compiling sources of data to decide what action to take to keep to a production schedule
Orchestrate labor and supply within budgetary considerations to reach full production capacity
Able to lead a group team of assemblers and test technician towards the achievement of Lam’s goal to be a No 1 in customer trust through on-time production and delivery
Leads overall safety protocol management to ensure LMM employees are protected, with adequate PPE, training and safety measures
Manage team performance: know team problems, define areas for performance improvements with team members, drive teamwork, lead problem solving groups, lead workshops on quality improvement methods (5S, TPM, 6M)
Review release schedule, capacity and engineering owned issues by utilizing SAP, receiving management input and visually assessing the floor capacity as well as address materials issues
Order parts and equipment by contacting dry op support/planning/engineering or by generating purchase requests in SAP etc
Manage employee performance by documenting, coaching and communicating desired behaviors
work with management and HR to suggest corrective action which could result in verbal, written warning or termination
Requirements:
Min Diploma in Science / Engineering or related fields with min 5 years working experience in manufacturing industry
At least 1 year of proven experience in supervisory role
Good leadership, organization and planning skills
Knowledge in production process and manufacturing process preferably equipment assembly
Knowledge in production planning and technical know-how
Good communication skill in verbal and written English and interpersonal skills and ability to deal with people from multiple functions
Self-motivated, discipline and result oriented with strong initiative and has the ability to work independently with minimum supervision to meet tight deadline
Independent, trustworthy, reliable and must be a team player
