Job Description:

We’re looking for 2 Base Supervisors to lead and support our team of Civil Enforcement Officers delivering parking enforcement services, one at our High Wycombe base and the other at Aylesbury. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in keeping the borough moving safely and efficiently while developing and supporting a high-performing team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage and support a contract-based team of Civil Enforcement Officers
  • Oversee daily operations across the enforcement contract
  • Ensure operational and contractual requirements are consistently met
  • Monitor performance against KPIs and drive continuous improvement
  • Analyse performance data and implement corrective actions where needed
  • Manage team performance, including appraisals, training, and disciplinary investigations
  • Conduct fleet checks to ensure vehicles are safe, compliant, and suitable for operational use
  • Verify driver check sheets and operational documentation
  • Ensure reports, statements, and incident paperwork are completed accurately and on time
  • Maintain high standards of Health & Safety for yourself and the wider team
  • Ensure activities align with company policy, contract specifications, and client expectations

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders
  • Experience in a customer-facing environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
  • Good IT literacy, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • The ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and remain calm under pressure
  • Experience in parking enforcement, local authority services, or regulated operational environments would be highly beneficial
  • Occasional travel within Buckinghamshire, candidates with Driving Licence preferred
