Job Responsibility

  • Provide regular support and supervision to foster carers, ensuring they meet the National Minimum Standards
  • Carry out Form F assessments and present reports to the Fostering Panel
  • Facilitate support groups and provide training to carers to enhance their skills and confidence
  • Ensure all safeguarding procedures are strictly followed to maintain the safety and well-being of children in placement
  • Work closely with Children's Social Workers to ensure stability and permanency for children and young people

Requirements

  • A degree in Social Work and current registration with Social Work England
  • Proven experience in a Fostering or Child Protection team
  • Strong assessment skills, excellent communication, and the ability to build meaningful professional relationships with carers
  • A valid enhanced DBS check and a full UK driving license with access to a vehicle
