Supervising Social Worker – Connected People’s Team. We are currently seeking a committed, resilient, and experienced Supervising Social Worker to join the Connected People’s Team at Cheshire West and Chester Council, based at The Portal in Ellesmere Port. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated social work professional who is passionate about supporting children to remain within their family networks wherever it is safe and appropriate to do so. The team specialises in family and friends fostering, completing comprehensive assessments and providing ongoing support to carers who are looking after children known to them, including those applying for Special Guardianship Orders (SGOs).
