Join Our Team – Make a Difference in a Child’s Life Every Day! Are you a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker looking to make a real impact in the lives of children and foster families? We are seeking a full-time experienced Supervising Social Worker to join our dedicated fostering team covering the North West of England. As a Supervising Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting and supervising our foster carers to ensure that children and young people receive the highest standards of care. You will work closely with carers, children, and other professionals to promote positive outcomes and stable placements.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide regular supervision, support, and guidance to foster carers
  • Undertake assessments, including Form F and annual reviews
  • Ensure foster placements are safe, stable, and meet the individual needs of children & carers
  • Work collaboratively with local authorities and other stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports
  • Participate in an out-of-hours rota

Requirements:

  • Social Work qualification (DipSW, BA, MA, or equivalent)
  • Registration with Social Work England
  • Experience in fostering or children’s social care
  • Strong assessment, report writing, and communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Enhanced DBS compliance
