Job Description:

Equip is seeking a board-certified MD or DO in Family Medicine, or a dual board-certified MD/DO in Internal Medicine-Pediatrics (Med-Peds) for a Direct Patient Care + Clinical Leadership role on its rapidly growing clinical care team caring for patients ages 6-99 years with eating disorders in a 100% virtual Telehealth platform.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver comprehensive medical assessments and evidence-based treatment for co-occurring medical conditions due to an eating disorder
  • Monitor vital signs, labs, and other medical data to ensure medical stability
  • Collaborate on a multidisciplinary treatment team
  • Communicate via electronic medical record messaging to support patients and supports
  • Communicate and collaborate with outside providers
  • Document effectively and in a timely manner within Equip electronic medical record
  • Participate in Treatment Team meetings, supervision, continuing education and department meetings
  • Provide clinical leadership and supervision to nursing staff and advanced practice providers

Requirements:

  • MD or DO degree with board certification in family medicine or dual certified in internal medicine and pediatrics
  • Must be able to see patients across the lifespan
  • Active, unrestricted medical license in one or more states, with willingness to obtain additional licenses as needed
  • 3+ years of clinical practice with demonstrated experience supervising advanced practice providers and/or physicians
  • Proven ability to excel in high-acuity, high-volume clinical environments
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a track history of collaboration with diverse teams and external providers
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing clinical and organizational priorities
  • Clinical maturity to navigate complex cases
  • Comfortable with startup pace and change
  • Ability and willingness to pursue licensure in all 50 states

Nice to have:

  • Experience in telehealth or virtual care delivery strongly preferred
  • Experience in eating disorder medical management and evidence-based practices, including monitoring medical stability and coordinating care, preferred, but not required
