Equip is seeking a board-certified MD or DO in Family Medicine, or a dual board-certified MD/DO in Internal Medicine-Pediatrics (Med-Peds) for a Direct Patient Care + Clinical Leadership role on its rapidly growing clinical care team caring for patients ages 6-99 years with eating disorders in a 100% virtual Telehealth platform.
Job Responsibility:
Deliver comprehensive medical assessments and evidence-based treatment for co-occurring medical conditions due to an eating disorder
Monitor vital signs, labs, and other medical data to ensure medical stability
Collaborate on a multidisciplinary treatment team
Communicate via electronic medical record messaging to support patients and supports
Communicate and collaborate with outside providers
Document effectively and in a timely manner within Equip electronic medical record
Participate in Treatment Team meetings, supervision, continuing education and department meetings
Provide clinical leadership and supervision to nursing staff and advanced practice providers
Requirements:
MD or DO degree with board certification in family medicine or dual certified in internal medicine and pediatrics
Must be able to see patients across the lifespan
Active, unrestricted medical license in one or more states, with willingness to obtain additional licenses as needed
3+ years of clinical practice with demonstrated experience supervising advanced practice providers and/or physicians
Proven ability to excel in high-acuity, high-volume clinical environments
Exceptional communication skills, with a track history of collaboration with diverse teams and external providers
Ability to adapt quickly to changing clinical and organizational priorities
Clinical maturity to navigate complex cases
Comfortable with startup pace and change
Ability and willingness to pursue licensure in all 50 states
Nice to have:
Experience in telehealth or virtual care delivery strongly preferred
Experience in eating disorder medical management and evidence-based practices, including monitoring medical stability and coordinating care, preferred, but not required
