Job Description

Supervising Mental Health Therapist-Outpatient at Ellie Mental Health – Cleveland, OH (Beachwood). Ellie Mental Health offers therapists a creative, supportive, and flexible work environment that removes the headaches of traditional practice. We handle scheduling, billing, insurance, and client matching so you can focus on providing world-class care. We are especially seeking a LISW-S who is interested in supervising LSWs and stepping into a growing clinical leadership role within our team.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide diagnostic assessments and therapy
  • Provide Clinical Supervision to Dependently Licensed Social Workers
  • Complete timely documentation
  • Use evidence-based interventions
  • Coordinate care with families, schools, and other providers
  • Attend team meetings and trainings
  • Support Ellie’s mission to fill gaps in mental health services
  • Evaluate mental health diagnosis, create, and implement a treatment plan, complete ongoing documentation including further diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, and case notes according to company policy
  • Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community
  • Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals
  • Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines and protocol
  • For Full-Time status clinicians must maintain a caseload of a minimum of 25 client visits per week
  • Provide Supervision to non-independently licensed clinicians
  • Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed
  • Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings

Requirements

  • Master’s or doctoral degree from an accredited program
  • Active Ohio license (LISW-S)
  • Experience providing direct clinical services, including diagnosis, treatment planning, therapy, and documentation
  • Strong communication skills and professional boundaries
  • Timely documentation and familiarity with EHR systems
  • Ability to work with a diverse client base and pass a background check
  • A great sense of humor!
  • Candidates are required to have a master’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university and on track to obtain licensure in their designated field

  • Fully Licensed Clinicians will ideally be credentialed with insurance panels.
