Job Description:

Supervise bar operations at The Westin Bora Bora Resort & Spa, ensuring guest satisfaction, staff coordination, and adherence to quality standards while maintaining a professional appearance and following safety protocols.

Job Responsibility:

Inspect grooming and attire of staff
Communicate with guests to ensure needs are met
Ensure staff is working together as a team
Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety
Complete work orders for maintenance repairs
Complete scheduled inventories of supplies, food, and liquor
Check stock and requisition necessary supplies
Obtain assigned bank and ensure accuracy of contracted monies
Communicate last call at designated closing time
Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating employees
Develop and maintain positive working relationships
Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
At least 2 years of related work experience
At least 2 years of supervisory experience
Ability to inspect grooming and attire of staff
Ability to communicate with guests and other departments
Ability to monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety
Ability to complete work orders for maintenance repairs
Ability to complete scheduled inventories of supplies, food, and liquor
Ability to obtain assigned bank and ensure accuracy of contracted monies
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 50 pounds
Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects requiring fine motor skills
Ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
Ability to move up and down stairs and/or service ramps
Ability to reach overhead and below knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
