We are looking for an experienced Superintendent to oversee a range of electrical projects in commercial, industrial, and federal sectors. This role is pivotal in ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, safely, and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate will coordinate closely with various departments to ensure seamless project delivery and foster strong client relationships.
Job Responsibility:
Manage multiple electrical projects simultaneously, from initial planning through final completion
Review and interpret project specifications, contracts, and drawings to ensure alignment with scope and objectives
Develop and oversee project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts to maintain financial and timeline goals
Coordinate the procurement and delivery of materials, ensuring timely availability for project needs
Supervise subcontractors and vendors to guarantee quality standards and adherence to project scope
Conduct regular project meetings to track progress and address any challenges using project management tools
Monitor project costs and prepare accurate forecasts and billing documentation on a monthly basis
Provide technical and logistical support to field teams to resolve on-site issues promptly
Ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and contractual obligations throughout the project lifecycle
Represent the organization professionally and cultivate strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction
Requirements:
Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in managing electrical construction projects
Proven track record of overseeing commercial and industrial projects valued up to $5 million
Comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems, construction practices, and scheduling methodologies
Proficiency with project management software, such as Spectrum or ProjectSight, and Microsoft Office tools
Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills
OSHA 30 certification and a valid driver’s license are mandatory
Familiarity with formal project management methodologies, including PMP or Agile Scrum, is highly desirable
Ability to effectively manage cross-functional teams and drive project success
