Job Description:

This position is responsible for quality related tasks at the American Falls facility. These tasks involve training of QA personnel, management of customer complaints, overall development of QA programs, audit compliance, and communication with customers on quality issues.

Requirements:

  • 4-year degree in engineering, food science or related field
  • Previous experience as a plant Production Supervisor, QA Supervisor and Shift Supervisor
  • Thorough knowledge of Q.A. Specifications and procedures
  • Thorough knowledge of HACCP program and its administration
  • Thorough knowledge of potato processing to include the ability to recommend process changes in order to improve finished product quality
  • Thorough knowledge of Product Tracking systems
  • Thorough knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Ability to write and administer customer-driven quality assurance and food safety programs
  • Ability to travel for customer and corporate meetings as needed
  • Strong PC skills, to include WINDOWS, WORD, AND EXCEL
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problems solving and organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

Nice to have:

Thorough knowledge of potato processing to include the ability to recommend process changes in order to improve finished product quality
