Job Description:

Randstad Education is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school that values curiosity, collaboration, and academic achievement. This is your opportunity to inspire the next generation of scientists and thinkers.

Job Responsibility:

Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Science lessons for Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) students
Use experiments, demonstrations, and discussions to make lessons exciting and memorable
Monitor student performance and offer helpful feedback to aid their development
Adapt lessons to cater to students of all abilities
Contribute to curriculum planning and development within the Science department
Participate in school-wide events, trips, and extracurricular activities
Create a welcoming classroom that sparks scientific curiosity

Requirements:

QTS or PGCE qualification is essential
Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 levels
Strong classroom presence and ability to engage diverse learners
Passionate about Science and committed to student success
Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one
Two recent references from educational settings
