Job Description:

We are looking for a dependable and flexible Hourly Courier to join our team on a full-time basis for an initial training period, followed by active support during the summer months to cover employee vacations. During this phase, the courier will develop a strong understanding of delivery operations, routes, and customer service standards while contributing to maintaining service continuity during a high-demand period. After the summer period, the courier will transition into a pool of on-call hourly couriers. In this role, the individual will provide critical support by covering absenteeism, managing delivery overflow, and assisting during peak demand periods throughout the year. This position is well-suited for someone who is adaptable, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a variable schedule. Strong organizational skills, punctuality, and a customer-focused approach are essential for success. We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team of Couriers.

Job Responsibility:

  • Representing FedEx in front of our customers, courteously picking up and delivering their packages
  • Driving vehicles in FedEx fleet on defined routes in various postcodes, making sure customers’ packages get to the right place, on time
  • Making sure vehicles are always operated safely and legally
  • Following all FedEx Health and Safety and other company policies and procedures

  • Have an eye for detail to make sure paperwork is correct
  • Holding a valid driving license for type of vehicle assigned is essential and held for 2+ years would be an advantage
