Job Description:

This is a full-time position on a 4-month term based at the McIlvenna Bay site working either a 7/7 or a 14/14 rotation. This is a term position from May until End of August 2026. As part of the Site Services Team, this temporary Summer position is responsible for performing a variety of general labour duties on surface to aid the advancement of our project site in a safe and efficient manner.

Job Responsibility:

  • Packing and moving of various items from around the site to the warehouse and other surrounding buildings
  • Prepping and painting of Sea Can containers on site
  • Perform general site clean up duties while following proper disposal requirements
  • Assist warehouse personnel with stocking of materials and other supplies onto shelves
  • Pickup/drop off supplies to nearest centre by vehicle as required
  • Perform various general cleaning/organizing activities required at the project site
  • Assist the Environment and site services team with inspection and sample activities
  • Data entry for underground or service work or inspection sheets
  • Support with document control, categorizing and uploading material

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older and currently enrolled in full-time studies, or planning to begin full-time post-secondary studies in the fall
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Standard First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to work outdoors in an industrial environment
  • Ability to demonstrate safe and efficient work practices
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in the workplace
  • Strong work ethic with a high level of reliability and accountability
  • Willingness to learn and take on new skills
  • Strong decision-making and troubleshooting abilities, with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
