Job Description:

We are looking for a creative and proactive Social Media Assistant to capture and share the vibrant life of our summer schools. This role will involve creating engaging visual content for social media and supporting our private parent blog.

Job Responsibility:

  • Capture daily life at the summer schools for Instagram and other platforms, ensuring posts reflect our values and student experience
  • Take and upload daily photos to the private parent blog, providing families with a window into their child’s experience
  • Collect and record student and staff testimonials for future marketing use
  • Ensure all content aligns with Wishford Education’s tone and safeguarding guidelines
  • All staff working at summer school are responsible for the safeguarding of children
  • Some ad hoc pastoral care duties, e.g. supporting with supervision, may be required
  • Support marketing initiatives and undertake any other relevant tasks as reasonably requested

Requirements:

  • 18 years+
  • GCSEs
  • Undergraduate degree or in undergraduate education
  • Full driving license (own vehicle not essential)
  • Advanced safeguarding qualification
  • First Aid training
  • Experience creating social media content
  • Experience working to tight deadlines
  • Experience working with children
  • Experience working in a summer school setting (desirable, not essential)
  • Fluent English language skills (native or CEFR C2)
